Sustainability

Sustainability Principles

Sustainability is at the core of S K Fabric and Trims and extends beyond offering eco-friendly products. We are committed to contributing meaningfully to global environmental efforts by reducing carbon emissions, optimizing the use of natural resources, and promoting responsible manufacturing practices—while strictly adhering to our environmental policies.

We focus on integrating recycled materials and sustainable processes to support the growing demand for eco-conscious textile accessories across global markets. Through the adoption of responsible alternatives, efficient resource management, and continuous improvement, we strive to build a more sustainable and future-ready value chain.

Our sustainability goals are guided by the following key principles:

Reducing Carbon Emission

We have implemented the SDI (Systematic Dispatch Initiative) to optimize transportation and reduce unplanned deliveries. This helps lower fuel consumption, operational costs, and carbon emissions. We are also working towards transitioning to carbon-free transportation in the coming years while encouraging employees to adopt eco-friendly practices.

Go Green and Sustain Green

We actively promote green initiatives through plantation drives and employee engagement programs. These efforts support environmental well-being while also contributing to a healthier and more positive workplace. Our committee indulges itself in every possible event and engages employees to help institutions Go Green and Sustain Green.

Adoption of Recycling

Recycling reduces the dependency on raw materials acquired directly from nature (e.g., Cotton, Jute, and Metal). These raw materials cannot be readily used as they have to undergo further processing to be used in the making of garments. Recycled materials will help reduce the impact caused on nature. We are certified GRS (Global Recycled Standard) manufacturers of Woven Tapes, Knitted Tape, Draw Cords, Draw Cords with Metal and Fancy Ends, Knitted cuffs/collars, Flat Knit Fabrics, etc.,

Reduce Use of Chemicals

The use of chemicals may have a direct or indirect impact on the workforce and the end-users. We strive to reduce the use of chemicals. In the products where there is a compulsion for chemicals, we are bound to use Nature-friendly chemicals only.

Safe and Responsible Workplace

We prioritize the health, safety, and well-being of our employees by maintaining a secure and supportive work environment. Continuous feedback and improvement help us grow as a responsible organization. We At SK Fabric take suggestions from our employees, contest on the brighter side of the meeting, and discuss bringing the change that helps the organization to grow as a Model Institution.

Electric Vehicle (EV) Adoption

The use of conventional fuel-based vehicles may impact the environment. We strive to reduce our dependence on such vehicles. Wherever possible, we are committed to adopting electric vehicles (EVs) and aim to transition towards eco-friendly mobility within the next two to three years.

Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP)

The discharge of untreated wastewater may have a direct or indirect impact on the environment. We strive to minimize this impact by ensuring proper treatment of effluents. Wherever required, we are committed to implementing and maintaining Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) systems to ensure safe and environmentally responsible disposal.

Solar Energy Adoption

The use of conventional energy sources may impact the environment. We strive to reduce this impact by adopting renewable energy solutions. Wherever possible, we are committed to utilizing solar energy to support clean and sustainable operations.

We are committed to building a sustainable future through
responsible practices and continuous improvement.
